How to change View Distance on your server
view-distance controls how many chunks are loaded around players. Higher values look better but use more CPU/RAM.
Steps:
- Open your panel: click HERE and select your server.
- Go to the “Files” tab in the sidebar.
- Open the server.properties file (not a folder).
- Find
view-distance=and set the desired value according to your server capacity. - Save the file and restart the server to apply changes.
Tip: if the file also contains simulation-distance=, adjust it as needed.
